Our Profile

Hello,  We are Martin and Louise, a Canadian couple who retired young to spend more time travelling after full careers in the Canadian Military.

Our goal is to make your time away stress free, by providing your pets and home with all the care, attention and love we would our own.  As previous homeowners who used sitters for many years we understand how precious that peace of mind is while you’re away.

Since 2013 we have been actively house sitting homes and fur babies of all kinds around the world.  We love the sense of community, the wonderful people we meet,  and the delight of animal companions that house sitting offers.

We are in excellent health, non smokers, and basically homebodies who prefer our evenings in. Our lifestyle is very active, scuba diving, sailing, hiking, and biking.

Martin is trilingual, speaking English, French, and German and Louise is working on becoming fluent in Spanish

In the past 30 years of marriage we have renovated and landscaped 4 homes from top to bottom. This has given us the skill sets needed to deal with most common household issues as they arise, and we are of course very diligent when it comes to duties and will follow your instructions to the letter.

We have experience looking after all kinds of animals including cats, dogs, rabbits, fish, and horses, including diabetic cats and a horse with respiratory issues, so we are comfortable providing additional medical care as needed.

We are both comfortable driving a wide assortment of vehicles including motorcycles, ATVs, manual transmissions etc.
